Step thirteen Step twelveĪfter the paint has dried, use a pencil to draw various lines, squares, and circles to add some detail to the exterior of the Falcon. Now paint! Before starting, lay down some newspaper and perhaps put on some protective clothing, as this can get messy! Carefully apply a layer of light grey to get that iconic Millennium Falcon look. Step tenĬut out a few strips of cardboard the same width as the base height and glue around the edge of the Falcon. ![]() Slice the removed piece of tube into various strips and glue to the tube to make the cockpit windows. Step sevenįrom your remaining cardboard, cut out two strips, two circles, and a wedge and glue these onto the top of the base to create the top structure of the Falcon. Step sixĬut a small half circle from each of the four paper plates to fit around the tube and glue the plates onto the base (two on the top of the base, two on the underside). Slide the tube over the base and glue it into place. Then slice out two strips along the longer section, the same width as the height of the base you created earlier. Turn the sliced end of the tube around and glue it an angle to the longer piece. Slice the cardboard tube at an angle about a quarter of the way down. Glue the four teardrop-like shapes on top of one another to create a thick base. Carefully cut out this shape and use it to trace around to create three more identical shapes. Trace around a paper plate and from that circle create a teardrop-like shape.
